LSLA Annual Dinner 2023

All members and their guests are invited to the flagship event of the Association’s year, the Annual Dinner, which will once again be held at the Law Society Hall in Chancery Lane, WC2 on the evening of Thursday 23 November 2023. 

We are delighted to announce that Jonathan Powell has agreed to speak at this years event.
 
Jonathan Powell was Chief of Staff to Tony Blair from 1997 to 2007 and the chief British government negotiator on Northern Ireland during that time in office.
 
As a diplomat from 1979 to 1996 Jonathan worked on the negotiations to return Hong Kong to China, arms control talks with the Soviet Union, and talks on German reunification.  Since leaving government Jonathan established Inter Mediate, a charity working to advance the resolution of armed conflict through dialogue and mediation.  It focuses on some of the most dangerous and complex international conflicts and in that capacity Jonathan has  participated in a number of negotiations between governments and insurgent groups in Europe and Asia.

 
The cost of tickets is £125 per head including a champagne reception and wine during the meal. 

The dress code is black tie. 

Tables are of 10, and everyone may buy as many tickets as they wish.
 
It is always a very popular event and tickets sell out quickly.
