Guest Speaker: Dominic Grieve KC

 

Rt Honourable Dominic Grieve KC was Attorney General from 2010 to 2014 and Chair of the Intelligence and Security Committee of Parliament from 2015-2019.

His work as Attorney General was in the field of Public and Constitutional Law with cases in the Supreme Court, European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.  He is a noted campaigner for the rules of law and human rights, both in and outside parliament and is a visiting professor in Law, Politics and Human Rights at Goldsmiths, London University.

The occasion is regarded as an opportunity for our speakers to talk more frankly and openly than is customary as the speech is under the Chatham House rule.
