For the second year running, the Junior LSLA and LCLCBA are delighted to invite you to the Battle of the Bar! Junior barristers will compete in a no holds barred* oratorical Hunger Games. The chosen few will trade verbal blows in their pursuit of taking home the prestigious crown of BotB Champion 2024.
Competing barristers will gear up with a case law update of their choice, and brave our underground arena to pitch it to the crowds as the most significant legal development of the year. The final arbiters of this battle, the audience (including YOU), will select by public vote the barrister who has persuaded you that their case update is worthy of victory.
Expect spectacular storytelling feats, daring eloquence, underhand tactics, and, most importantly of all, drinks, nibbles and impeccable company!
We hope you can join us for what will be an entertaining (and educational) evening. The competition will run from approximately 6:30pm – 7:30pm, but all guests are encouraged to stick around for drinks, food and cross association networking into the evening.
Tickets are limited so make sure you secure yours fast!
* Some holds may be barred.
